The Diary Tuesday, 29th May 2007 | Grand Canyon, AZ | GMT-7 Tuesday morning, we awoke in Las Vegas and headed out toward the Grand Canyon. We stopped at the HUGE Hoover Dam and stopped and looked around some. Then we drove on, and had lunch at some nasty truck stop restaurant. The Austrians got phone cards, and called their Ladies with expensive phone cards. We then continued on, and arrived at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon at 6pm. We hurriedly pitched our tents, and ran out to the edge of the Canyon and just made it for the Sunset - oh how beautiful. We then walked back to the camping site and grilled dinner - hamburgers and steaks. Then we headed to the bed. This time was not as uncomfortable as before - I actually slept about 4-5 hours ;) 2 Austrians on the Hoover Dam Hoover Dam Intake Towers Grand Canyon here we are! Austrians trying to grill
